For over 20 years, Encounter Ministries UK, has been ministering under the direction of Phil South.  Phil South, founder and Executive Director of World Action Ministries, moved from secular business in 1969 to use his administrative skills for Christian organisations. For 12 years, from 1977 to 1988, he served as the administrator for MWE and "The Filey Christian Holiday Week". In 1986 he founded WAM in order to extend his administrative brief beyond that of just MWE. Phil also preaches widely across the UK and United States.
